The hassle of finding a trusted and good Heating Engineer….. If you have a known and trusted Heating Engineer then great, use them (assuming that they are Gas Safe Registered). If you are not lucky enough to have a long established relationship with a trusted Heating Engineer then I say that you should go for a company who specialise in boilers, take your safety as paramount, are fully qualified, certified, Gas Safe and insured with guaranteed work and insurance on all work carried out.

What if you don’t have Gas… We can get gas installed at your home or business if there is a mains gas supply which you can use.

Is your Gas Supply adequate…. Sometimes, in older homes we come across very old pipework and Gas meters which are inaduquate to supply some modern boilers and homes. Depending on your requirements and budget, we can either upgrade your meter and pipework for a more modern boiler or possibly keep the existing supply but this would limit which boiler you can have. Every job would be different and a fully qualified Gas Safe Registered Heating Engineer would need to advise you once your situation has been assessed.

The time it takes to get it fitted and take the old boiler away….. Most of our boilers can be ordered and arranged for installation as soon as the next day. If you are looking for a fast turn around, we keep in store many of the more commonly supplied boilers so taht our customers are not waiting days or even weeks for a new boiler. Can I Upgrade My Boiler

Sometimes we get asked, “since I need a new boiler, can I get a bigger better one?” The answer here is that it depends on your supply and your needs. It may be the case you don’t need a bigger boiler and it would be a waste of money buying a higher capacity boiler and you will have bigger energy bills as well. Our qualified and trusted Heating Engineers will be able to make tyhe judgement call about what you need and give y ou options accordingly. For example, if you have a 1 bedroom flat, you don’t need a 45Kw boiler to supply it as this would be more suited to a 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms, shower room and utility room. Similarly, it doesn’t make sense to buy the cheapest boiler and think that it would provide the output you require in your home or business. Our Heating Engineers will assess your property needs, check the gas supply, size the meter and pipework and let you know what your best options are.

Many of our customers add on a room thermostat and/or smart controls which allow you to adjust your heating automatically and also via an app on your phone or tablet. This truly makes your hetaing system 21st Century. Heading home on a cold winters night, you can get your phone out and put the heating on to the temperature you want so that it is nice and warm for yo getting home. Now, that is worth every penny… Once you see how this set up works, you’ll wonder how you did without it.
